Hi! I’m Amber Hart, and I’m a Birth + Postpartum Doula and Admin guru. You can find me making home-made remedies in my kitchen, foraging in our local forests, embracing my inner-child alongside my son and finding ways to be creative and grounded daily. I have re-settled in the Okanagan (born and raised) after 10 years abroad in Asia and New Zealand.

I tend to notice the things that most go unnoticed and try to help them bloom. I take time for tea and the little things in life; a good cup of coffee, tickle-fests with my son, endless piles of storybooks and summer swims. I’m the mother to an energetic, compassionate boy who I wouldn’t trade for anything in this world.
I had a wonderful birthing experience in New Zealand with midwifery and hospital care which led me to dive into the doula world. I was a doula for over five years and supported countless families through the birth and postpartum process.
When exhaustion sets in, a shower seems out of reach and there are so many questions, I realized I wanted to find a way to help families navigate this sacred, challenging time. We know that with hands on support for the mother and baby, postpartum depression can be prevented. It takes a village and it’s a beautiful thing to have a group of people dedicated to helping new families navigate all it encompasses, from feeding to newborn sleep.
I’ve always had strong administrative skills – maybe it’s my attention to detail and my willingness to communicate empathetically with clients; listening to their concerns and needs. I enjoy creating content on social media sites to engage and inform others within the field of babies and families. It’s my hope that when you contact us for support, you feel heard, seen and valued as a new parent. This journey and new chapter is precious, and you are not alone.
